Kiss to Kasauli..

“Till now we do not have any news of the car”, said my colleague. Please call him and confirm that is he coming or not. I was a bit puzzled as all of us have packed our bags and are super excited for the trip to begin. I called the driver, a Sardar whose name was not known to anyone of us. We addressed him as a sardar only. How strange it is that we know a person not by name, but by their religion and get up. I called him up, he received my call and said “Yes madam ji, midway to reach NFC”. I sighed a heave of breath as we still are on the trip to Kasauli.
Kasauli, a small hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Many of us are not aware of this place at all, until the day I searched for some offbeat places to visit from Delhi. The images of the place were so appealing that I was not able to stop myself from visiting. I immediately called up my gang of girlfriends and shared them the very thought to witness the scenic beauty the very next week.
Me and my gang, all of us are crazy people and unlimitedly active ones as well. It was within a week we planned our trip, our stay and also our way to reach the destination. Road trip was the ideal and the best way to reach, as per me. But others were in a dilemma as they thought it to be quite unsafe to make the move. I insisted to make this happen and lastly with all the motivation and cheering up, it was a YES from all.
Finally the car arrived and we all made an entry to it with all the excitement and joy. It was all a different feeling. A first time ever road trip, a bunch of people whom I know the best, some great cameras with us and desire to visit a new place all by yourself. The list also included the handmade breakfast that each one of carried with us for the entire group.
After a 5.5 hours ride, we finally landed to Kasauli, a small yet beautiful place that has some serene beauty within it. Reaching the place was a treat for us as it carried the beauty and the awesome weather with it. Away from this hot burning weather of Delhi, we found peace and calmness in that small place. Kasauli is place where you will get time for yourself, for your soul and for your disturbed mind. It heals up everything that is wounded in those few hours of your stay.
Basically it is a one day trip, but if you want to extent it for 2-3 days, I think the place will not mind in giving you the same warmth and love that you received at once. So, folks, take a break and visit the place which is far yet near to you. A small trip with friends, family and your special one will sure be something to be remembered and cherished for years to come.
